Ink on Bristol

A black ink drawing on white paper depicting a variety of items. Starting at the top left, a smoking pipe is positioned vertically with the bowl facing the right. Three smoke rings of increasing sizes are emanating from the pipe. In line with the smoke rings is a disembodied open female mouth. Within the mouth an abstracted bear trap with a large speech bubble coming from between its teeth. The speech bubble says "Those lips are a trap in which I am snared." The border of the speech bubble is surrounded by thin lines that turn into spirals at the top of the page. To the right of the bubble are two contour drawings of onions mirroring the shape of the speech bubble. To the right of the onions are two cascading groups of rings. The leftmost rings are breaded onion rings while the rightmost rings are jewelry. The rings lead to the bottom right and fall down onto a large group of contour drawings of fingertips, some fingers wear the rings. In the bottom middle is another disembodied mouth, this one has a spiked metal bottom jaw. In the center of the image are a trio of winged pretzels that are tangled in string. A traditional twisted pretzel is in the center and a pretzel bite is tied to it. A stick pretzel is on the right. The strings are connected to a toothpick scaffolding that is tied together. the scaffolding is suspending a wedge of swiss cheese, a large olive with pimento, and a cocktail sausage. To the bottom left the scaffolding recedes into a large group of tall stilts, supporting a log cabin surrounded by equally tall pine trees. Three trees whose trunks have split into 4 legs each are walking towards the center of the image. Scattered across the image are more bear traps with speech bubbles. The two traps near the rings say "If it beats you it eats you" and "Don't get beat, don't be eat". The trio of traps around the pretzels say "Will lose", "Is losing", and "Has lost". Two traps are near the bottom mouth, they say "Trip the trap" and "Make it snap". The final mouth near the walking trees says "ring, rang, rung."
